Joffria Whitfield has earned an AA, BA, a Teaching Credential, and a MA (summa cum laude). She is a multi-instrumentalist and has expertise in strings, woodwinds, percussion, and handbells. Besides classical music she also performs jazz, gospel, contemporary, and popular music. She has been a performing member of the Santa Rosa, Napa, Modesto, Stockton, and Vallejo Symphonies. She has appeared as a harp soloist with the First Sunday Series at Walnut Creek Presbyterian Church and the San Francisco Concerto Orchestra. In addition, she teaches instrumental music in the Mount Diablo School District and maintains a full private teaching studio.

Joffria was featured as a soloist in the May 2003 concert of New Millennium Strings, playing the Mozart Concerto for Flute and Harp.
